Good value. I was really pleased with our stay at Umthunzi; it is a very nice place to stay and the accommodation is very reasonably priced. It's a pity we were only there for 1 night. The room had everything we needed and was very clean. The shower had great pressure and is spacious. The only small thing I have to say is that my husband and I were looking at dinner options and were offered only a menu which had a choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts at R360 per person. For us, this is really expensive, and we decided not to do this and went out instead. Only later, when we came back, did we discover another à la carte menu which was cheaper. So there are options; we were just not made aware of them. Other than that, I would still stay there again.

Comfy and great value for money. Rooms were comfy, clean with great views. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious!

Baie slegte ondervinding. Het nie lekker gebly nie. Die stort het die hele aand gedrup. Die gasverwarmingsstelsel skree soos 'n vark wat geslag word. Die bestuur keer nie die lawaai in die plek nie. Mense het soos malle aangegaan.

The room and bed was comfortable. We had a lovely 2 days. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were friendly. We actually got double charged for a round of beers, and when the barman took stock he realised it and brought us the beer to the room. Appreciated the honesty, would not even have ever known.

Need only one word: peaceful. We had a very peaceful, relaxing stay. Food was great and the rooms were clean and very well maintained just what we needed after a hard year.
