We had drinks at Lulas on Saturday morning as well as dinner the evening it was value for money and really nice place to be. The bar next to Lulas was also nice for the sport lovers. Definitely a great holiday destination!"

A lot of surrounding homes and the area in general are not in a good state. The town is in need of investment to put it on par with other fishing towns in the Western Cape."

"Witsand is a gem with many facets. The brightest being the friendly, welcoming folk at 'Spasie' eatery. Their cuisine is utterly mouth-watering. Presentation enchanting. Their chef is top-drawer. I wanted to take home a chocolate brownie for later, I had to eat it there and then! We ordered croissants for collection 9 a.m next day. It was great seeing so many others fetching their orders with huge grins."

"Obviously it's always nicer at the seaside in good weather, but if one enjoys walking, cycling, swimming, fishing then you'll keep yourself occupied. Some nice restaurants with reasonably priced menus, and we found all the small shop-owners very friendly."
