"Een dag maksimum nodig vir die dorp. Geen badkamers by vuurtoring of Suidpunt vir besoekers nie. Agulhas Nasionale Park is nie oop vir dagbesoekers nie, slegs vir persone wat peperduur verblyf binne kan bekostig."
"Alhoewel ons nie Stanford self besoek het nie (rondom 30minute se ry van die plaas) en weggekruip het op die plaas omdat ons alles tot ons beskikking gehad het, het ons wel verby Stanford gery en is ons baie opgewonde om in die vervolg die dorpie ook te besoek, veral oor die pragtige ligging en besienswaardighede in die omgewing."

"A lovely little town which you want to include a stay on Saturday morning in order to enjoy the morning market. We tried a hike in the nature reserve but found the train we took not well marked and confusing."

"Nice birding location. The harbour has lots of terns and rock crystals. Recommend the local wines (Lomond, Hermanuspietersfontein and local cheese). Meat is more expensive and there's less variety. Lots of paths next to the ocean at De Kelders side for walking and jogging. Mostly rocky surf."

"Too few shops, shops close at 5, no fast food stores other than KFC. Expected more seafood restaurants since it is a coastal town. No beach to swim, was very hot, should be more swimming pools or swimming beaches."
