"We went for the peace and quiet. It can get very windy in Pringle Bay. Very friendly and helpful people from the local community. I'd suggest doing your shopping for provisions before heading off to Pringle Bay. Any herbs, spices, olive oil, condiments etc. make sure to bring those along yourself as well. There are a few take away options and a local store, with limited necessities. We needed assistance over Easter with a punctured car tyre. The closest garage or tyre place is in Kleinmond. A little 'off the beaten track' for emergencies."
"Yzerfontein is 'n veilige dorpie en is sentraal geleë vir wyn- en bierproe, en vele meer in en om Darling. Langebaan/Paternoster na die noorde en Kaapstad na die suide is nie meer as 'n uur se ry."
"Pragtige plekkie. Dit is lekker om rond te stap en plekkies te ontdek. Moeilik vir ouer persone wat in 'n rolstoel is of moeilik stap om al die trappe te stap tot by see. Groen met baie bosse, pragtig."
