"I fell in love with all the friendly people of Lamberts Bay! Locals creating the most beautiful crafts made up of sea shells. Crayfish & lovely fresh fish from the boats (in allowed season with a permit that can be taken out at the post office. Pharmacy, Spar, OK Mini Mart & various other shops stocked up with everything you could possibly need. Restaurants serving lovely fresh seafood. Not forgetting the beautiful coastline! Lamberts Bay is a must for the bucket list!"

"We were there in the height of the pandemic and spent all our time in our bubble and on the water. We were able to hire canoes and a paddle board which made that possible. There were remarkably few people so it was probably not a typical height of season experience. No doubt Sedgefield has other charms in normal times; for these unusual ones - despite being in a hotspot - it was a really marvelous place in which to stay Covid-safe. We could get everything we needed at the Spar - and the German shop, which has everything the Spar does not. Think prawns, salmon, real frankfurters, spekulaas and much more."
