Perfect overnight stopover to rest and recharge. Great stopover travelling through the Karoo. Warm hospitality and excellent location. I really enjoyed my stay.

A little disappointing. It was advertised alongside other venues in Calitzdorp without any clear indication that it is located 22 km outside of town, halfway to Oudtshoorn. There aren’t any self-catering facilities in the room. The on-site restaurant was closed and no adequate warning was given. On a Sunday afternoon, and being far out of town, it meant going to bed hungry. The entrance to the dirt road has a reception sign pointing to the restaurant, but there was nobody there. There wasn’t any other clear indication of where one should go to find the actual guest house. There is also no phone reception, which means one cannot call to obtain directions. The GPS point provided by the website only goes to the restaurant and reception area, which was closed and under construction. Note that the guest house is further up the road and there is no marked reception.
