Beautiful views, off the beaten track. Location is perfect - away from the usual built environment in Gordon's Bay / Strand. Quiet with a beautiful garden with lots of bird life. A short stroll provides a spectacular 360 view of the mountains and False Bay. Good for rest and low-key days. Hosts are very friendly and take pride in the care of the property.

Most relaxed I've felt in ages, even travelling with a little one. Ida and her husband were amazing hosts. They are not used to interacting with guests and we were bubbly, talkative people, lol, but I suppose most people like complete privacy. You'll get this and more. They are very accommodating and for mums travelling with kids (youngest is 2), they were great. The view is stunning, the sunset walk was amazing and it was so clean. It's centrally located to the mall but once you step onto the property, you will feel relaxed and away from life itself. It was amazing and my kids loved it. Will definitely return. The only thing I would add that was a downfall is because there is no oven when you are on long stays. It would be best to add an air fryer, especially for mums travelling with kids.

Lovely spot for countryside living. Lovely location in a cottage next to the big house. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. It was lovely to spend time in the amazing garden and take a dip in the pool.
