Main Holiday House

The price includes: Provision of bedding, bath towles, mats, table cloths, 2 dishcloths, cleaning cloths, pot scourer.

Electricity and Water included.

We supply dishwash and dishwasher soap, Handy Andy, Oven Cleaner, Toilet Spray, Handwash and body wash in dispensers at the shower, bath and basins. We supply a starter kit of coffee, tea, sugar, milk, 2 toilet rolls per toilet, 2 bin bags.

Washing baskets in bathrooms, Iron and ironing board, Towel rack, and security saves in bedrooms. Dressing table and hairdryer in each bedroom. Build in cupboards.

Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, gas oven and stove, big fridge freezer combo, microwave, toaster, kettle, smoothie maker, coffee plunger, glass tea server, biltong cutter, broom and mop, hand mixer. Bread and cookie oven tins, Oven glassware, tupperware. Plastic glasses and food servers for beach or jacuzzi. Not only 6 of a kind crockery and cutlery but 12 for convenience.

In case of load shedding: lamp and torch, gas geyser for hot water, gas kettle for stove and gas stove and oven in the house. We provide electric cables to run tv, light and fridge/freezer powered by solar when possible.

Private Veranda with outside furniture.

Only the house offers airconditioning in the bedrooms and a private hottub/jacuzzi at a additional daily fee that is payable directly to the establishment should these extras be required. Due to abuse we have to manage it and charge R120 per day for each airconditioner. We charge a initial first day use of R800 for the jacuzzi to cover the cost of clean water and cleaning including spa tablets and thereafter R500 per day for use to cover the cost of running the heaters and motor.

The bedrooms, lounge and dining area in the house is fitted with ceiling fans.

Half day and full day cleaning services are available at a basic cleaning from 8am till 12pm at R230 which includes the sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning of bathrooms and toilet, dusting and dishes and kitchen counters. A full day clean costs R350 additionally includes the cleaning of the stove, oven, washing of clothes, towels, dishcloths, general colths, table cloths swimming towels, carpets as may be required. If time allows ironing gets done aswell.

Wood, Firelighters and additional toilet paper, bin bags available to purchase.

Outside Private Room

The Comfort Cabin is more than just a room.

We provide linen, bath towels, mats, table cloths, towel rack, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, 2 dishcloths, cleaning cloths, pot scourer, broom, mop, dustpan, vegetable rack, dishrack. These get changed once a week by the establishment.

We provide dishwash, handy Andy, Oven Cleaner, pot scourer, 2 dishcloths, 2 toilet rolls, toilet spray, Hand and body wash in dispensers.

We provide a starter kit of coffee, tea, sugar, milk, salt and white pepper.

The room has a en-suite shower bathroom, ceiling fan, coffee nook with kettle, barfridge should you be lazy to leave the room, dressing table with hairdryer, build in cupboards, smart tv, dvd player, security safe, torches in event of no power supply..

Seperate from the room you will find an covered lounge/dining are with a leather lounge suite and private braai/ barbecue facilities.

The laundry room with washing machine is available at no charge for clients staying 6 nights or longer.

We offer half day cleaning service from 8am to 12pm at R230 that includes cleaning the bathroom, sweeping and mopping the floors, dusting, dishes, cleaning the oven, microwave and Kitchen. A full day service is available at R350 and additionally include doing your washing and ironing.

On-site we have fire wood, fire lighters, toilet paper, bin bags available at a fee for your convenience.

Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R1000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

Bring your own face cloths and swimming towels.

Bedding, bath towels, dishcloths, cleaning cloths, table cloths, mats are provided and gets changed on a weekly basis for long stay guests. Please do not wear our blankets round your body or use our bath towels for any other purpose than what they were intended for.

We provide Dishwash, Handy Andy, oven cleaner, handwash, body wash and ask guests to kindly use it in a reasonable fashion.

We use a septic tank and we request that no foreign items be thrown down toilets but toilet paper as it is very costly for repairs. We do provide bathroom bins for other items.

Please do not dispence of left over food down our drains as it clogs the septic tank and is a costly affair. Kindly use old shopping bags and throw away in bins provided.

We expect our guests to hand our premises back to us in the same clean and neat state they received it except for the linen, mats, cloths, towels. In the event that you leave dishes for us or the place is not as you found it we will withold R350 cleaning fee from your breakage deposit. Cleaning Services is available to book during your stay at a additional fee.

For Guests booking the house that has the option of using the jacuzzi/hot-tub we ask to Please not use glasses or any kind of bubbles in the jacuzzi. Also do not get into the jacuzzi when you have sea sand or are dirty as it will damage the jacuzzi that may lead to costly repairs. We also ask that you switch off the heater during intervals as to not blow out the element.

No one else is allowed on the premises but for the people booked into the accommodation. (Special permission may be granted depended on circumstances)

Umzumbe is a firework free area and fireworks is not allowed at the premises, nor the beaches, or streets.

Please be considerate to other persons on the premises and we expect Quiet time from 22:00. Screaming and unreasonably loud noice is not allowed and guests will be asked to leave the premises if they can not behave themselves.

The laundry room is only available to guests booking for 6 nights and longer. Please do not overload the washing machine and stay withing the 13kg load limit. The washing machine may only be used from 7am to 5pm daily.
