The Bay A101

It was not worth it.

It was horrible from the arrival to the checking out. We arrived at 14h41, and the host made me and my kids wait by the gate until 15h23. When I asked her, she said she was busy checking in other guests somewhere else. Mind you, the website says you can check in at 14h00. Anyways, while I was standing outside with my kids, the wind was freezing cold. She was nonchalant when she got there and told us that another guest made her late, which made us late as well. Now we had to go inside, but the door didn't want to open. She made us wait again to go the other way to open it so we could go in. Once we got inside, she showed us around the house. Before she left, she said, 'If you need anything, you have my number.' The next morning, I messaged her, but she read my message without responding. I wasn't bothered, but in the evening, we couldn't access the DSTV. I messaged her again, and once again, she read my message without responding. We had been struggling with this for at least 4 hours by now. Her response was, 'What do you want to watch?' Like, really? Does it matter? It was so uncomfortable, really. I went to The Bay A101 in June for half the price, and it was better than this. Everything there was easy and comfortable, and there was no deposit breakage fee either. Yesterday, when we left, we had to drop the key at the garage. What an inconvenience, to say the least. Never ever again.

Not what I expected.

Difficult to get hold of the host, left messages, still not replied to. The one room is very small and the bath is tinny.

Heerlik ontspan.

The Bay is baie goed geleë - meer na Tafelbaai se kant as Blouberg maar fantastiese uitsig. Ons is baie vriendelik ontvang. Die woonstel is baie oulik - 2de badkamer bietjie knap vir volwassenes maar was nie 'n groot hindernis nie. 'n Groot voordeel is dat jy nie nodig het om vir 4 of 5 nagte te bespreek nie. Die Wi-Fi-beskikbaarheid was 'n lekker bonus.

Waarde en ligging is uitstekend.
