Idilliese en ouwêreldse huisie met bekoorlike interieur. Alte lekker gebly in 'n gerestoureerde huisie met vergange tye se atmosfeer. Ideaal vir 'n paar dae van stilte en eenkant wees. Die boomslang naby die voordeur met ons aankoms, die naguiltjie se geroep teen 9 nm, en die ganse en makoue rondom die huisie die oggend met ons vertrek in helder sonlig, sal ons lank bybly.

Uitstekend vir die wat rus en stilte soek. Hoogs aanbeveel, uitstekende verblyf en gasvryheid van albei, net van die beste. Die huis is herstel soos in die ou dae en die stilte is presies waarna ons gesoek het.

Perfect old cottage with all the facilities you need. Just outside the quaint village of Van Wyksdorp, this is the ideal country getaway if you want to lose yourself in the Klein Karoo.

Wonderful stay. We arrived to a very warm welcome from Janine & Russel. Our cottage overlooked the dam and surrounding vistas, which were beautiful. Absolute tranquility, very good for the soul. Russel explained that the purchase of the farm and subsequent renovations of the cottages were his dream and passion, and that is very clear when you look at all the details. Truly lovingly restored. The cottage was very clean and had everything one would need, including a very comfortable bed. Thank you again, we highly recommend it to anyone wanting to leave the city behind for peaceful bliss.

Tranquil cottage in 'little Karoo'. A comfortable and tranquil stay in Van Wyksdorp. We stayed there over a weekend and the host suggested we visit the Saturday market in central Van Wyksdorp. We were welcomed by three different people at the market, thanking us for visiting their town. Organic produce, meat and delicious cakes were sold at the market. Decent gravel road from both Ladismith end and Riversdale end. Will definitely return for a visit.
