"'n Klein supermark sal voordelig wees vir gaste wat die omgewing besoek."
"Moenie die Drakensberg seunskoor se opvoerings misloop nie. Die 2 supermarkte in die omgewing is genoegsaam toegerus en daar is n paar baie oulike winkels ingestel op toeriste. Dit is nie die stad nie maar n wonderlike buitelewe ervaring."
"Pragtige natuurskoon en baie plekkies waar mens kan stop langs die pad. Falcon Ridge se "bird show" is 'n absolute moet. Fantastiese ervaring om die roofvoëls in aksie te sien."

Witsieshoek Mountain Lodge"Ons het ons so bietjie vasgeloop met “locals” bo op die Amphitheatre wat ons omsingel het en ons juwele wou vat. Dalk 'n goeie idee om in groter groepe te stap."
"A hidden gem in South Africa. Great travel destination with plenty to do. With spectacular mountain surroundings Champagne Valley is one of a kind. We would definitely recommend to visit the Falcon Ridge Bird of Prey Centre."

As stated above,understandably being the weekend certain places of interest closed earlier & certain did not operate.A shopping area for supplies & provisions centrally situated made for good convenience. Will recommend & most probably visit again. Great."
"The local authority/community needs to address the problem of alien invasive plants such as Lantana/Wattle which appears to be well established in certain areas. If not addressed urgently, it will get out of control and will be costly to eradicate in the future."

Witsieshoek Mountain Lodge"Dis baie mooi en stil. Pragtige uitsigte wat mens moet sien. Baie voetslaanpaaie. Dis net sleg om deur so 'n groot lokasie te ry om daar uit te kom. Dis 'n seer vir die oog en mens stres maar oor veiligheid. "

"We were disappointed with the general service in Champagne Valley. As it was a New Year weekend and the area was full it was frustrating to find places closed. I can't understand how business is lost at this time. We ate lunch at a restaurant and food was awful and not fresh. We were told we could go to the Drakensburg Sun Hotel on old year's eve. We were treated so badly by the secuirty at the gate who asked us "What are you doing here?" in such a rude manner. We left but felt that it was not necessary for them to treat us in this way. This area needs to look at how they are dealing with tourists in the future."
"Great MTB trail at the Olde Duck. Great Super Spar in town. Although the town itself is not much to write home about but did I mention the beautiful scenery! There are a number of eateries in and around the area for all tastes and budgets. Puckertty Farm Stall has lovely homemade bread and baked goods. Best coffee is at the Olde Duck. Underberg is stunning for cycling hiking fishing, simply unwinding and taking in nature. Now I know why South Africans call SA God's country. Underberg is simply stunning."
