"A lovely and beautiful destination. Great walks, nature and golf course. We go to Clarens at least 2 - 3 times a year, and use it as a stop-over to my holiday home in Natal. The only thing which is concerning is that the prices in stores are increasing higher than expected, and Clarens needs a proper "Spar" type supermarket (proper hygiene/safety/procedures etc.). The 2 currently in Clarens leave a lot to be desired."

"It's super close to Johannesburg for a day trip out, but also nice to stay overnight to break away from the fast-paced lifestyle in Jozi. The town is riddled with potholes though and the municipal water is safe to drink, but has a strange taste. I recommend bringing bottled water for consumption."
