"Umdloti was generally clean and chilled. Although it is relatively small, it does not feel cramped. Security was visible all the time and walking in the streets in the evening was a pleasant experience. It is quite a bit more expensive than Johannesburg in some aspects though, which I found a bit shocking."

"Hibberdene is a small town, but if you are going for the sea, fresh air, warm weather, dolphin and whale views and access to some private, quiet beaches, it is perfect. Local shops are fine for a quick visit, but rather drive a bit further towards Port Shepstone for greater variety. We took our 4 dogs and had a magical beach holiday with them."

Welcome Home Cottage"Very charming Town with so many hidden gems. A beautiful nursery where one can enjoy superb breakfasts, lunches or teas and mouthwatering cakes. Victoria Country Club always a pleasure to visit - be it for a round of golf or lunch/dinner. Two shopping malls if one has the time to explore. The Countryside is lovely - close by there are many areas to drive to for an outing on Midlands Meander. Although the capital of Kwazulu-Natal, it has retained a country feel with caring folks."
"Baie plekke naby om te gaan sien soos Mac Banana, butterfly dome, crocodile farm, cowboys pub en vele meer plekke."
"Ons het verskriklik gesukkel met Uber in die omgewing. Definitief nie 'n vervoerstelsel om op staat te maak nie. Ons besef wel dat Covid talle mense se lewens raak en ook hul werk beïnvloed."
"Port Shepstone is baie besig, maar het al die besighede wat mens nodig het, maar al die naby liggende dorpe is ook vol interessante winkels om te besoek."
