"Daar is glo baie dwelmmisbruik onder die plaaslike gemeenskap, wat hoë misdaadsyfers tot gevolg het. Was al by die Karoo Nasionale Park wat pragtig en baie interessant was. Pragtige berge rondom Beaufort-Wes. Die goedkoopste diesel hier gekry in Beaufort-Wes. Die dorp het pragtige ou geboue en huise en 'n ryk geskiedenis. Chris Barnard is hier gebore en sy huis is 'n museum hier. Die mense by Spur is baie vriendelik en hulle kos is goed."
"Velddrif is a town by the sea, and not a seaside resort. But it is very central and allowed us to explore nature, fishing industry, birding and various other seaside towns. I was pleasantly surprised and will visit again."
