It’s a popular spot for an array of wildlife including the big 5. The lodge lives up to its name with magnificent herds of elephant visiting the area frequently.
Combining comfort and tranquility, with the perfect location, Elephant Walk Retreat promises to be the ultimate bush experience, which is ideal for families and couples.
We cater to all travelers by offering a variety of accommodation from basic to luxurious self-catering. All nine of our units offer splendid views of the river, have their own barbecue area and are equipped with a fridge, microwave and kettle. The log cabins and bigger chalets offer a fully equipped kitchenette, while the two smaller more basic units offer an outside bush kitchen.
Enjoy a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, or read a book under the shaded Lapa area, take a drive in the Kruger National Park, or simply unwind while taking in the nature and views. Elephant Walk Retreat is also an excellent spot for the avid birdies.
For the more adventurous we also offer an array of outside activities and tours to do during your stay with us at an additional cost. Activities include, Game drives in to the Kruger National Park and hiking tours, The Panorama Route, Sudwala caves, Swaziland Day Tours, Mozambique Beach Day Tours and Fishing
The nearest town, Komatipoort is a mere 12 kilometers away for shopping and dining and airport transfers can be arranged at an additional cost.
