A most amazing setting with beautiful scenery and tranquil surrounds.

Really enjoyed the tranquility, beautiful scenery and abundance of birds.

Coots cottage was lovely, well equipped and pet friendly.

Our Golden Retriever especially enjoyed swimming in the dam and going for walks with us around the farm.

Perfect for our needs. Close to home and fenced garden for the dogs. Great get together for a family birthday.

Enjoyed our walks around the farm and the log fires. Kitchen well equipped for a number of adults to all help with the preparation of the meals. Hot water was an issue due to loadshedding so maybe a gas geyser would be a good addition.

Wonderful and relaxing private stay. Will come again.

Everything is as in the photos. Cottage is clean and well-appointed (shower has no water pressure but is hot). The farm roads are a little muddy after all the rain but it is not far from the main road. Overall a wonderful stay. Thank you for having us.

Lovely and convenient stay in the Elgin valley.

Very spacious! Wifi not working and situated in a "hole " where cellphone reception was extremely poor. A map of the farm with walks would've been useful.

Relaxing and wonderful stay.

We loved our stay and our 20-month-old grandson had such fun.

Had we know the bird life was so incredible we would have taken binoculars!

Huis en tuin vuil en onnet.

Ons het voorheen al by Galileo gebly en dit baie geniet, maar ons het die keer die huis vuil gevind en onnet. Die kombuis was orals vol kos, die mikrogolf was vol taai melkgemors, yskas was binne en buite vuil en die hele huis is vol stof. Vensterbanke lê dik van die stof en ons het 'n hele skoppie vol stof uit die agterste kamervloer opgevee. Besmeerde mure in kamers en muf op die mure en dakke. Spinnekoppe orals in die dakke, mens kan sien die huis was lanklaas skoongemaak. Die gras van die tuin was nie gesny nie en baie verwaarloos. Die buitemeubels en tafels was nie afgevee nie en vol taai ringmerke van vorige mense. Ons is baie teleurgesteld.

Perfect farm stay.

Affordable and quaint. While you can occasionally hear the road from the cottage we stayed at, it's not disruptive and you can't see it. Our baby loved the horses and dogs. The views are amazing. And birds everywhere.

A good staycation - tranquil farm experience.

Good sized home with all you need for a good self-catering stay. We explored the farm and met some friendly animals too. We had a good Christmas weekend in a home that is surrounded by God's beautiful natural creations.

Ons het by Galileo gebly tydens ons W2W-deelname en dit was absoluut wonderlik. Dit is geriefliknaby aan die Race Village geleë en was perfek vir die doel.

Beautiful vir 'n wintersnaweek in die Kaap.

Dit is 'n beautiful cottage by die dam. Die hoofpad is so klein bietjie raserig, maar oor die algemeen was dit baie lekker.

Beautiful setting, great chalet and everything communicated well with us.

The host was very responsive and accommodating. Absolutely loved the place. A hot tub would have been the cherry on top, but all in all, a wonderful stay.

Baie mooi en lekker ervaring. Stil, rustig en pragtig om daar rond te stap.

Lovely relaxed stay in a spacious farm house with everything you need (except a dishwasher).

We enjoyed walks amongst the horses at the stables and around the farm. The house is set under a large oak tree with acorns falling on the roof - not ideal for babies and toddlers sleeping. It is also right next to a main road which you do not realize from the pictures on add. The house could also do with a thorough clean. Water from taps are brown - we were unsure wether we could drink it and had to rush to the nearest shop to by 20 litres of drinking water for the weekend - this should be mentioned in the description.

Tranquil, calm, perfect for a quick getaway.

My partner and I only had 2 days off to get out of town to celebrate our anniversary. This was the perfect place. Its calm and quiet and absolutely beautiful. We wanted to do some fishing and just had to walk a few meters to do so. A short drive to Peregrines Farm stall where we went and had a lovely breakfast. Managed to wind down, relax and spend quality time together, which is exactly what we wanted.

Dit was heerlik, maar die bed is baie ongemaklik. Die bank aan die anderkant is heerlik.

Dit was 'n lieflike naweek met baie voëls, goeie weer en die blyplek is baie goed uitgekit. Sal beslis aanbeveel. Net daardie bed is bietjie hard.
