Pleasant. Welcoming. Comfortable. Well catered. All you need. Your clothes, food and yourself. Genot was more than prepared to host us. Literally everything you could need was there and more. Every utensil, bedding, towels, place mat, and so many other home conveniences were provided. The hosts were very pleasant and made us feel comfortable, offering anything and allowing us to be in the yard. The dog was pleasant, and we barely saw him unless he was after a treat. But very, very passive, and the yard was definitely always clean. So overall, we as a family will definitely be back and will definitely be booking in at Genot.

A lovely family break. We had a fantastic time. The unit had everything we needed, and enough blankets and heaters to stay cosy during the cold nights. Hosts were friendly and very helpful.

Pleasant but outdated. Can do with new couches and kitchen supplies. We had an amazing time. My parents have a place in Palinggat for almost 40 years but needed to get extra accommodation due to our big family including all our kids. Genot was spacious and clean but had a few things we feel can be improved with just a bit of TLC and nitty-gritty things. Kitchen utensils and some appliances were outdated and dirty. The garden was used by the resident dog, so there was often poo on the grass. Braai facilities were dirty and braai grit was old. A lot of old magazines and dusty books. One magazine was from 2012.
