Quiet countryside retreat – safe trails, pet-friendly, annual getaway spot. Our stay was absolutely tranquil and peaceful – the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. It was wonderfully quiet (besides the occasional donkey, which just added some charm). My husband and I were looking to disconnect from signal and devices, and this spot was ideal. Lovely scenery, great place to get away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. We were greeted by the horses every morning and the views from the units are stunning. The dogs accompanied us on the hike and were the best guides. The only thing to remember is that the last 3 km to the farm is for high clearance vehicles. Sedans will struggle a bit with the terrain. As the farm is on the border with Lesotho, there are signal issues with SA networks and WiFi access can be purchased from reception. The unit is clean and has everything that you need to have a great stay. We enjoyed the fireplace on the cold evenings. The owners are friendly and very helpful.

Amazing view, well equipped cottage. Excellent stay! Amazing location in the Maluti range. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Clarens but close enough for a day trip. The owner was really helpful in assisting us with all our queries. The hiking trails are excellent and we really enjoyed it a lot. Our dogs enjoyed the stay more than we did!
