"Beautiful Town, SPAR well stocked staff very friendly. Filling Station staff very friendly. Pizzas from 'Meeurots Restaurant' above the SPAR were not edible, service exceptionally slow. Pharmacy, Pharmacist was exceptionally helpful, in helping with medication that would be compatible with my chronic medications and heart bypass.'Beaches Restaurant & Bar' stunning position, magic service & hospitality. 'Lulas Restaurant' we phoned a number of times, left a message, not sure if they are in business. 'Die Stal' served a fair breakfast within an adequate service time. Beulah Farm Deli, good coffee, good food, breakfast by the gram weight, good service. Will visit Yzerfontein again."
"Ons was 'n bietjie teleurgesteld met die vinnige uitbreiding van groot massiewe huise orals wat Yzerfontein se Weskusdorpie-atmosfeer opgeslurp het. Groot jammerte!"
"Ons was baie teleurgesteld in die eetplekke. Twee eetplekke was toegerook (ek weet nie hoe mense daar kan eet nie!) en die derde restaurant (meer gewilde plek) se kos was opgewarm en "over cooked". Die padstal bly die beste eetplek, maar ons wou 'n slap 'n ander plek probeer. Danksy Spar se flink diens en goeie produkte sal niemand honger ly nie."

"It's a pity that not more of the village and particularly the restaurants don't have sea views. It's an excellent location with regards to the West Coast and Darling. It's close to Cape Town which makes it a good weekend getaway."
