Huisreëls

The heated swimming pool is leased to ATKV Hartenbos by Hartenbos Seefront. Due to structural challenges with the roof, Hartenbos Seefront has assumed responsibility for its replacement. The removal of the asbestos roof commenced in September 2025, and the
installation of the new roof has now been completed.

The next step is to apply to the municipality for permission to refill the swimming pool, in light
of the current water restrictions. Should this application be successful, further work will be required to restore the building, pool, and heating system to a fully operational condition. ATKV Hartenbos will make the heated swimming pool available to guests again once all construction work has been safely and fully completed.

If the project continues according to plan, reopening is currently anticipated for a later stage in 2026. The safety of our guests remains our highest priority at all times.

Further updates on the progress of the project will be communicated as they become available. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Guests must be 18 years or older to make a booking at ATKV Resorts.

Group bookings: Special conditions apply to groups of 20 or more people (5 or more units/campsites). A special deposit is required, and a dining area must be reserved.

Pets are not permitted at the resort.

Unfortunately, no additional guests can be accommodated in any unit. If a unit sleeps 4 people, that is the maximum allowed. No extra beds are available, and no additional adults or children may be added.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all accommodation units and buildings throughout the property. Following the law, fines may be issued for non-compliance. The use of “Hookah” or “Hubbly Bubbly” pipes is also not permitted anywhere on the premises.

Guests must agree to the full terms and conditions provided by management at the time of booking. Only guests listed on the booking are permitted to stay.

Upon arrival, guests will be required to:

Complete and sign the resort’s indemnity form.

Receive a vehicle permit.

Only 1 vehicle per accommodation unit or campsite is permitted. An additional fee applies for extra vehicles. Please note that administration fees and bank charges apply to cancellations and refunds.

Due to increasing incidents of fraudulent Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs), EFT payments must be made at least 2 days before arrival. If payment is not reflected in the resort’s bank account upon arrival, the outstanding balance will need to be settled in full before check-in. Refunds will only be processed once the payment reflects in the account. No keys or permits will be issued until the full account has been paid. Cheque payments are not accepted.

Housekeeping: Accommodation units are serviced daily.

Visitors: No visitors or day visitors are permitted at the units or anywhere on the property.

Camping guests:

Please bring your own power-point adapter.

Guests must provide their own swimming towels and dishcloths.

Additional rules:

No music from motor vehicles or private sound systems is permitted.

Motorcycles and quad bikes are not allowed on the premises.

Only appropriate swimwear is allowed in the swimming areas.

Please note that during off-peak midweeks, the resort may host conference and/or school groups.
