Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R1000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

The estate is equipped with security cameras, and a security guard patrols the area between 19:00 and 07:00. The cottage also features its own alarm system and private security service. Pets are not permitted.

Keys must be collected before arrival. Directions will be provided once the booking is confirmed and the refundable key and breakage deposit have been paid directly to the owner.

Unfortunately, students and matriculants are not permitted.

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the cottage. Any violation may result in penalties.

The maximum occupancy of the cottage is four (4) guests. If more occupants are found on the premises, guests may be required to vacate the property immediately.

Subletting is not permitted. Bookings must be made by, and are strictly for, the guest(s) occupying the property.

Late check-out may result in penalties, including forfeiture of the refundable breakage deposit.

If cleaning services are required, only the designated cleaning staff appointed by management are permitted on the property. External cleaners are not allowed.

For last-minute bookings, full payment is required at least two (2) days before arrival, including the refundable key and breakage deposit. This applies to public holidays, weekends, long weekends, and extended stays.

Any damages, lost keys, or contraventions of complex or house rules may result in additional charges. The refundable breakage deposit will be refunded within 30 days after departure, subject to inspection. Cancellation fees may apply.

Guests are required to park only in the designated parking bay assigned to the cottage.

Tents and fireworks are strictly prohibited on the property and on the beach.

Day visitors are permitted; however, the total number of guests on the property must not exceed the approved occupancy limit.

Refuse must be disposed of in the appropriate black or green refuse bags.

Additional charges may be applied if more guests than originally booked are found to be using the premises. Extra cleaning fees may also apply if the property is left in an unsatisfactory condition, including excessively dirty dishes, linen, or furnishings.

Unruly behaviour or excessive noise from guests, vehicles, radios, televisions, or musical instruments will not be tolerated. Any fines imposed by the Homeowners Association will be charged to the guest.

Furniture must not be moved, and no items are to be removed from the property.

Swimming in the pool and ocean is at the guest’s own risk.

Cancellation Policy - Custom
