House Rules

OppiPlaas is a true bush camp with no facilities. It is not a caravan park.

Matric year-end or 21st birthday parties are not allowed.
No guests under 21 are permitted without adult supervision.
Stag parties are not allowed.
Music or excessive noise will not be tolerated. Fireworks are prohibited. Drones are not allowed.

Campers must be fully self-sufficient. Borehole water suitable for drinking is available at each campsite. Generators are prohibited. All fires must be extinguished to prevent veld fires.
Campers must take precautions against damage caused by blue monkeys.

There is no electricity, dishwashing, or ablution facilities at the campsites. Borehole water suitable for human use is available, along with a fire pit, built-in braai, and shade trees. Flush toilets are available in the communal entertainment area, approximately 300–400 metres from the campsites.

There is a 7 km gravel road leading to the property, and vehicles with low-profile tyres and/or sports cars may experience difficulties. Guests are advised to enquire about the condition of the road before arrival, as it may change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Guests may drive in the reserve with their own vehicles at an additional cost, payable to Dinokeng.
There is the option of a 4x4 route and a standard sedan route.
