Ons het baie lekker gebly, veilig gevoel en inderdaad weer gaan slaap daar. Afspraak.

Could not stay another night.

Overall disappointing. Our booking was for 4 rooms and 2 nights. Checked out after 1 night. The sheets are stained. The towels are stained, old and unravelling. Asked for new towels and received them. In 1 room, the aircon remote is nowhere to be found and the TV is not working. The windows don't have burglar bars so cannot be left open for fresh air. There was a cockroach running over the 1 bed. The vehicle (quantum) did not fit in the parking bay and was partially in the street. Noisy neighbours. There were cigarette ends lying in the walkway upstairs and an ashtray full of cigarette ends. Reception was asked to clean up. Upon return to rooms several hours later, nothing had been cleaned. My group decided to rather check out and find accommodation elsewhere.

Die mede persone wat ook daar gebly het, het Saterdag aand baie geraas gemaak, nadat die ontvangsdame hulle twee keer still gemaak het.

Good place, pleasant neighbourhood.

Great stay, I had a good time indeed. Pleasant staff. My challenge was smokers.

We had to make our stay joyous, but the place itself is filthy. The ladies living there light their hookah coals on the stove plates in the kitchen, which leaves a very dreadful smell in the building. The glass doors were filthy, there are no doors to the bathrooms, and even the walls inside the rooms are dirty. The kitchen drawers are dirty, and cockroaches are roaming in the kitchen. The ladies living there brought their friends, who visited long after 22h00. Doors are shutting and opening, the bell rings in the early morning hours, and the cupboards are a mess. The relaxation area is also filthy, with broken stuff lying everywhere. The washing lines are broken, and the place is just a mess. We received only one towel for 4 people. The only upside to the place is the location, and that's it.

Dit is 'n baie lekker plekkie - mens moet wel die kombuis deel met ander mense en daar is net binne parkering vir twee voertuie.

Quite a horrible stay, the place is filthy, en-suite bathrooms have no doors.

Probably the worst accommodation I've ever booked! None of the bathrooms had doors, the sheets were dirty, the house was constantly smelling of hookah from the host lady smoking in her room. Entering and exiting was so annoying because the lady had to manually open the gate for you, and she got annoyed. Turned on the TV and wow - the previous people's things were not cleared - porn was displayed in front of my kid - absolutely disgusted.

It was a nice experience and I will definitely book in again.

Other than the cockroaches and ants, the accommodation was amazing. It was a perfect night for a couple's getaway. I will definitely go again. They only need to work on the kitchen, as it was a bit messy and untidy, and they need to do more fumigation in the rooms for cockroaches and ants. But further on, it was a very nice stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful, but they need to present themselves a little bit more professionally. Thank you so much, Sikelela Guesthouse. The stay was amazing and we'll see you soon. I'll definitely advise friends and family to visit this guest house. It was definitely good value for the money I spent.

It was the most traumatic experience.

The place was filthy, inside and outside. There were cigarette remains next to the stairs when I arrived. In the 9 days, they were never removed. Cockroaches! I had to do laundry before putting my luggage in the house. The attitude of the lady is on another level. I will never go back. Dirty linen.

Die kamer het nie bekers of klein lepels gehad nie. Moes vra vir alles. Die deur se slot moet jy sluit anders bly hy oopgaan. Die kamer is baie klein en het geen beweegruimte nie. Die staf parkeer hulle voertuie binne die veilige parkeerarea en die gaste se karre staan buite op die sypaadjie. Die eienaar sê hy is nie verantwoordelik vir jou skade nie, want jy het 'n vrywaring geteken. Wat ons nie gekry het nie. Daar hardloop rotte so groot soos katte in die kuierarea rond.

The room is very small.

I saw a huge rat outside the kitchen.

Very pleasant, safe and relaxing, needed to up on their bedding cleanliness.

Safety good, very helpful, could do with a better stove.

The photo of place was misleading. Parking was a challenge. Rooms and bedding were not regularly cleaned.

Vehicles have to park in street and there is not enough space for clients. Kitchen cupboards need an upgrade. Pest control is needed for cockroaches.

The front desk was great, but the owner was rude.

I was given a room with no toilet door, it was horrible when we needed to use the toilet imagine 4 of us. Tried to bring it up with the owner he was rude. l was very disappointed. 7-day stay in such a condition, not good at all. Bad choice.

Our stay was relaxing. The receptionist can be friendlier and more helpful.

The room was clean. Would prefer a microwave in the room but overall it was OK.

Netjies, gerieflik, groot kamer.

Ons het slegs 1 aand gebly. Dit was gerieflik. Enigste kritiek wat ek kan gee is dat daar nie eetgerei in die kamer was nie, en dat die toilet se sitplek los was. Verder was alles perfek en ons baie gemaklik.

Onprofessioneel.

Personeel was onprofessioneel. Gaste het geraas gemaak en WiFi was vir amper hele dag af sonder kommunikasie van personeel.

It was awesome stay, management and staff was very welcoming and helpful to make our stay easier.

Since we were traveling with young mixed gender students from the age of 10 years the cameras helped a lot.

We really enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse.

The balcony at the from room was nice, it's very big and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was disturbing was the ants on the cupboards. We couldn't leave our food out cause then the whole place was full of ants. But further on it was great.

Ons sou daarvan gehou het om ons eie afstandbeheer vir die hek gehad het. En sal waardeer het dat ons WiFi gehad het.

Was baie rustig, stil met niks geraas nie. So dit was vir my die beste van ales.

Ek het net 'n plek gesoek om te ontspan. En dit was die regte plek daarvoor.

Too much money for WIFI not working and TV with no sound. No help offered, just to move to smaller room. But stay was nice.
