"Mosselbaai het sy eie bekoring en die area bied ongelooflik baie om te doen en sien. Die dorp is netjies en skoon en veilig. Al die winkels in die hoofstraat was 'n verrassing en lekker om in rond te snuffel. 'n Verskeidenheid coffee shops en restaurante ongelooflik uniek aan Mosselbaai."
"It was a bit disappointing to see how some parts of the town have deteriorated since I was in the army there in 1983, but it is generally a very interesting place, with lots to do in the area and surrounds eg Swartberg Pass, Cango Caves and ostrich farms."

"Mossel Bay has lots to explore in the town itself with great restaurants, quaint second-hand shops and beautiful galleries. There is also a lot of outdoor activities to try out ranging from diving to helicopter rides. A short drive in any direction also delivers great finds such as nice markets, restaurants and breathtaking scenery."
