Rundown rooms. False advertising. Wonderful staff. Absolutely awful 'catfish' of an advertisement. The backpackers' rooms are nothing like they look in the pictures. They are run down and dirty. For the amount of money you are paying, it's better to add on a few extra pounds and stay in a proper room. The staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating 'with what they had' to help make our stay a little more comfortable. Not a hotel to visit at all! This has been one of the worst stays we have ever had. The hotel is very neglected. The thatch of the roofs is falling in. Rooms are dirty. Tiles are broken. Furniture is extremely dirty, and the upholstery is torn. Bedding is dirty, old, and frayed. Towels are old. Cupboard doors are missing. No WiFi. No Vodacom reception. Although the location is marvelous, the hotel is sadly a no-go place. We did not understand why the website even features this hotel.
