Beautiful, relaxing stay with amazing views, friendly staff, and top-notch break. We had an amazing stay at The Farmhouse Hotel. The rustic, old-school farm feel combined with the absolutely breathtaking views over the lagoon really sets this place apart. It has such a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to switch off completely. The staff were incredibly friendly and easy-going throughout our stay, which just added to the whole experience. One of the biggest highlights for me was how dog-friendly the hotel is. I could bring my dog along without any hassle, which is always a win. Breakfast was excellent, both in terms of food and service. The lady assisting us was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Just genuinely warm and welcoming, and it made a big difference to the overall experience. We also really enjoyed the walking path in front of the hotel. It is perfect for a relaxed stroll with beautiful views, especially in the mornings or late afternoon. The only downside for me was the additional fee for bringing a dog. While I understand that the fee contributes to an animal shelter, and I appreciate that effort, the cost per night felt quite steep. The added touches like the doggy bed, water bowl and toy are lovely, but I do think a once-off or lower fee per night would feel more reasonable. That said, this was really a minor concern in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. I would definitely visit again and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with incredible views.

Beautiful place to stay if you appreciate old buildings that were restored. The stay was fantastic, the restaurant had unbelievable food. We will definitely come back, but the reception and lounge area were too full of smoke from the fireplaces; it was impossible to enjoy these areas. The rest of the hotel fireplaces were in perfect order. We stayed for 6 nights.
