"I have been here twice before and this place is still amazing and will challenge anyone to visit this place and use this town as a base from where one can explore one of the best sightseeing places in the country. "

"Sabie is a nice town and clean. It is a beautiful part of the country and within day visits there are several activities within nature to enjoy. It has 3 or 4 petrol stations and 4 or more liquor outlets. However, if you need items other than alcohol or fuel and the local Spar doesn't sell it, there is very little options available other than a day trip to Nelspruit/Mbombela. Some of the restaurants in town were disappointing in that items on their menu's were not available."

"If beautiful countryside, waterfalls, clear streams and rivers, hiking and magnificent scenery is your desire then this is the place for you. You can drive to various places and pay small entry/parking fee entry or hike and see stuff for free. And if you are into fly fishing then a day on Sabie River is sure to score a trout or two. Visit Andrew at the local Blue Sky fishing tackle shop and by a day fishing licence or even a rod & reel with a few flies to go."
