'n Uiters aangename belewenis. Kan met grootste vrymoedigheid aanbeveel. Besonderlike ervaring. Baie ruim en volledig toegeruste gastehuis. Pragtige uitsig en natuurbelewenis. Die verwarmde swembad en veral die buite warmbad is 'n groot pluspunt. Ons het lanklaas so heerlik ontspan en ons sal beslis weer gaan. Die eienaar is ook 'n besondere mens en sy baie bekwame assistent het ons baie vriendelik ontvang.

A delightful rustic getaway! From the moment we arrived, Jeff and his team made us feel incredibly welcome. The accommodation has a charming rustic vibe that instantly puts you at ease—perfect for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle. Everything was clean and well maintained, from the cozy room to the beautifully kept grounds. The lovely pools were a highlight—sparkling clean and surrounded by peaceful greenery, ideal for a refreshing dip or lounging with a book. Jeff and his team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delightful, rustic retreat with top-notch service!

Peaceful and well equipped. This was an amazing experience! The owner and staff were incredibly friendly. Upon arrival, the hot tub was already heated up, and the owner is a delightful gentleman. The lady managing the office was also very pleasant. There is no TV, which contributed to the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and the view is simply stunning. Don't forget to bring charcoal for your braai. There is no microwave, and using a hairdryer is not permitted since the place is off the grid. I didn't inquire about Wi-Fi, so I'm not sure if it's available, but for my visit, it wasn't necessary as I was looking forward to some much-needed rest. The property features a hot tub and a solar-heated pool, along with a regular pool. The bed was extremely comfortable, equipped with electric blankets and cosy duvets. There's a coffee plunger available, so make sure to bring your filter coffee along. For entertainment, there are board games and plenty of books to enjoy. I booked The Hingeback, which consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms; please note that there are only showers, no baths. I will definitely return for another stay!

Amazing verby! Rus vir die siel en waarde vir geld! Ons het baie lekker gebly. Daar was 'n probleem met warm water, maar dit is toe na gekyk en hulle het ons nie ekstra gebill vir die hottub gebruik nie om jammer te sê vir die warm water probleem. 10/10!

Unique accommodation with a sheltered outside viewing deck. The Hares Lair is a unique accommodation, where every detail is thought through. The hobbit-like home is spacious on the inside with a separate seating area and dining table. Because it is half inside the mountain, you are very sheltered and can easily braai, even on a windy day.

Wonderlik. Heerlik! Ons en veral die honde het dit geniet. Hulle kom rond hardloop omdat daar nie ander honde was nie! Die hottub was ongelooflik lekker.

Peaceful, cozy, perfect escape. Our stay was exactly what we needed, a quiet, relaxing getaway from our hectic lives. The calm setting and cozy rooms made it so easy to just relax and recharge. It’s the perfect spot for young couples, families with kids, older folks, or anyone looking to escape the daily grind. We’d definitely recommend it for a peaceful break.
