"We were there for the SA Road Champs so the town was overrun by cyclists and their families. We felt that restaurant owners were not geared to deal with the increase in numbers. If they knew the SA Champs were happening surely they could have kept their kitchens open longer, brought in more staff and also made sure they did not run out of several things on their menus. This also happens on the weekend of the Double Century cycling event. Other than that the town is clean and charming."

"The only complaint that I do have is the litter and broken glass on the beach. On our last day, my husband and I took a plastic bag to pick up the rubbish left behind by people who had a great time on the beach but are too lazy to pick up after themselves. The broken glass is dangerous to children and adults walking barefoot. I would suggest a Move One Million beach cleanup."
