"Het al die jare een keer per maand by of Allesreg- of Natspatwoonstelle gebly tot omtrent 2002 toe ek Johannesburg to getrek het. Na 11 jaar weer terug en kan nou weer naweke gaan uitspan in my mees favourite vakansiedorpie."
"Hibberdene is a small town, but if you are going for the sea, fresh air, warm weather, dolphin and whale views and access to some private, quiet beaches, it is perfect. Local shops are fine for a quick visit, but rather drive a bit further towards Port Shepstone for greater variety. We took our 4 dogs and had a magical beach holiday with them."

"Uvongo is baie lekker en sentraal geleë. Dit raak wel onaangenaam om af te stap strand toe met meer en meer manne wat sommer in die bosse bly langs die strand. Die munisipaliteit doen wel goeie werk met die instandhouding van paaie en bosse om die kusgebiede."

"Lovely quiet and private little coastal town. The roads could do with some pothole-fixing. Town has the feeling of "jungle" rather than "beach". The beach is not readily accessible, having to cross a railway etc, but in some way this does add to the secluded charm of Pennington."
