"Its a laid back town with enough for every traveler. Can be used a great stopover before crossing over into Lesotho, just 90km from the renowned AfriSki. A choice of restaurants to satisfy that traveling hunger bug. Fairly very safe."
"The highlight was the Boys Choir. Our experience at Scrumpy Jack's with the bees and the irresistible cheesecake, lunch at Waffle Hut, and the chocolate fondue experience all were great! We would have loved to see the birds fly at Falcon Ridge - Bird of prey centre but their show time clashed with the Boys choir, so we had to give it a miss."
"Alhoewel klein en met die beperkinge van 'n klein-dorp in die Oos-Vrystaat is dit mooi daar in die omgewing. Doen maar alle belangrike aankope elders en bring dit saam. Die pad van Clarens af is eintlik nog baie goed onderhou, maar na Ficksburg lyk dit nie so goed nie."

Swallowfield Rondavels"Lots of things to do. Nice pub just across the road from Swallowfields. Very nice burgers! The brewery a few klicks down the road is a treat. Also a nice coffee shop next door. Hiking in the area is excellent, ranging from short hikes suitable for kids to longer ones for more experienced hikers."

"There are many places to visit at Winterton and surrounding areas. But there were other interesting places that were closed such as the museum in town and the rock art museum at Cathedral peak. That was not good."
