"Marlothpark het baie besig geword en die mense respekteer nie die wild nie. Ons het 'snares' in die veld gekry en veiligheid in die park word 'n probleem. Daar's bouers heeldag. Die huise is naby aan die pad en 'n mens hoor ongelukkig die heeltyd karre. Daar is nie "bos" nie want daar's te veel huise. Daar's sekuriteit om elke draai."

"Die park moet 'n toegangsfooi vra vir nie-inwoners. Daar was mense met busse aangery wat so dronk was op die 16de Des. Bottels gebreek het en hulle wangedra het. Daar was ook op 'n ander dag 'n taxi wat by die swembadpark parkeer het en kliphard musiek geluister het. Dan betaal hy en sy vriende slegs R50 om die hele dag daar te wees. Maak Marlothpark toe vir dagbesoekers of vra hulle R200 per persoon om in te gaan."

"Marlothpark het beslis ons harte gesteel van ons eerste besoek daar so 3 jaar terug. Ek moet bysê alhoewel dit nou die bosveld is kan daar dalk aandag gegee word aan die grondpaaie. Buiten dit, is dit 'n lekker plek wat ons graag besoek."
