The Ibis Lounge"When reading about Nieu-Bethesda the Owl House comes up as being the prime attraction. However the other attractions such as the Fossil Museum, the brewery and bookshop are much more interesting. The food at The Ibis Lounge is great and deserves to be mentioned in a write-up about the town. As a birder I found birding in and around Nieu-Bethesda was also very good. When travelling on the Owl Route from Graaff-Reinet I saw a number of interesting birds."
