But the best part of our afternoon was the amazing service and friendliness of the owners and staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they really aim to please. "Lovely getaway from the usual hustle and bustle. Be sure to visit the Jolly Olive for a cold one and enjoy the beautiful view from their patio. Allesverloren rocked with a live band called Millenium as well as delicious plated food on Saturday evening. Be sure to stop at Eight Feet Village on the Bothmaskloof Pass for a yummy pizza also with exquisite views of the Riebeek Valley. Another hidden gem was Meerhof wine farm - lovely for a wine tasting and lunch with stunning views and great atmosphere. On your way home, stop at the airy and spacious family owned Nuweplaas Shop Eat Play - a well-stocked gift shop and boerekos restaurant where you can feed the farm animals and kids can enjoy the play area."
