"Naby geleë aan Durban en aangrensende dorpe. Lekker dorpie met 'n lekker "mall" om al jou benodighede aan te koop. Ons is gewoond aan laer Suidkus (Hibberdene, Margate) waar daar volop winkeltjies is om aandenkings en geskenkies te koop. Maar met die vakansie kon ons nie sulke winkeltjies vind tussen Scottburg en Durban nie."

Ongelukkig is dit die werking van die natuur wat die tonne sand voor die estuary se monding neergelaat het, maar ons hoop en vertrou dat die uitwerking van die Umfolozi (as dit reën) 'n permanente oop riviermonding tot gevolg kan he."
