"The weather in Yzerfontein is capricious and when the wind blows inland off the cold Atlantic sea it gets very cold - not just at night. Take warm clothing. We shivered rather miserably through our first few days till the weather improved and shot up to almost 40 degrees. There is a designated walk above the harbour which should not be missed. Nor should the local municipal garden with a plethora of west coast plants all neatly labelled for your further interest."
