"We found Clanwilliam to be a wonderful town. Clean and well laid out with all the amenities one would need for a self-catering holiday. Restaurants and interesting places (such as Rooibos tasting house), are plentiful and classy. The end of August Flower Show in the church hall is spectacular. Friendly community. Clanwilliam is really well situated for day trip access to Namakwa fields of daisies, wine tasting, and the beautiful towns along the West Coast of the Cape Province."

"Ons het heerlik gekuier in Sea Castle, maar ons was nie bewus dat handdoeke nie voorsien word nie. Dit sal 'n bonus wees as daar wel in die toekoms handdoeke voorsien word. 'n Ekstra matjie by die toilet/bad sal ook handig wees. Die vloer is baie koud in die winter. Baie oulike plek en ons het heerlik gekuier!"

"We suggest for drinks, tasty food and great friendly conversation go and see Glen (Barman) and the rest of the guys at Bistro Blues. You have to stop and try the Turkish delight shake at the Roadkill Café, as well as take a picture with the owner at Ronnie's Sex Shop. A must is to take a cruise through the Tradouw pass, stop at the Stonehaven Nature Reserve and walk to the rock pools, take a dip if its warm enough. Make your way to Suurbraak and eventually Swellendam."

"Redelinghuys itself, though very beautiful and rustic, is very secluded and does not have the basic shopping centres and banking facilities that are necessary in modern day life and may therefore not be central and convenient enough for some tourists. It suited us well as we had to be in Elands Bay and Redelinghuys and we had a tranquil get away in the process."

Doen die moeite om die Pakhuispas te ry in die rigting van Calvinia en stop gerus by Travellars Rest vir 'n koppie koffie. Clanwilliam is 'n oulike klein dorpie met vriendelike mense."
