"We absolutely love the small-town vibe and the little shops on the main road. My favorite is the sweet shop. There is so much to do. Real Adventures offers quad biking, river rafting, paintball and so much more. A 30-minute drive takes you to Emerald Casino and Resort where there is a variety of activities. Pont De Val is 15 from Prarys, where you can enjoy the tranquility of the Vaal River and some delicious wine. Vredefort Drome is also 20 min from Parys. Parys is really an amazing little town."

"Fouriesburg is sentraal geleë met mooi sandsteengeboue. Dit is goed geleë om die omliggende dorpies en omgewing te ontdek en ondersoek. Dit het soveel potensiaal. Ek dink egter die plaaslike owerheid het die infrastruktuur erg laat verwaarloos. En dan natuurlik: Die toegangspaaie na die dorp via Bethlehem of Ficksburg is 'n nagmerrie. As jy daarmee kan saamleef, sal jy lekker kuier."
