"Ongelooflike lekker plek, dit was lekker warm. Die mense is baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Ek sal vir seker weer gaan."
"The drought is devastating, very sad to see the animals suffering, saw little to no animals at the Augrabies Park and the terrain is completely barren. Hoping they get rain soon. The towns in the vicinity could also keep the litter issue at bay, sad to see people still throwing litter everywhere."
"A small Karoo town with a couple of quaint restaurants that are worth eating at."
"Enjoyed the Moffatt Mission Station and the ladies in the office there were very warm and helpful. The staff at the Kuruman Eye were very nice and it was a lovely clean, quiet oasis to visit."
"Friendly town and people with great food experiences."
"Britstown is baie klein.
"Be sure to have a meal with the very friendly and helpful Willie and Annemarie. Tasty home cooked meals. "
"Kamieskroon is a lovely little town to start a flower trip. It has very limited shopping facilities, so it is best to stock up in Springbok with provisions. The Kuiervreugde coffee shop is a gem - the best coffee we had on the whole trip and Peet and Elsa are great folk with plenty of flower advice. The town is full of flowers blooming on the pavements, in the yards and the fields. Well worth a visit. The bar at the hotel is a bit soulless, so get beers and wine in Springbok and enjoy at the Gousblom gastehuis."
"Springbok is a charming little town nestled in the folds of the mountains. It is clean and everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. There are interesting things to do - like the orbicule rocks - and in flower season it is a good start to a southward journey to view the flowers. There are many shops and the Super Spar has an excellent range of food for travellers. Springbok is about the cleanest town we visited on our tour. Vryburg and Kuruman could learn cleanliness from the Springbok municipality."
