"Quiet beach oasis removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are 3 restaurants, Fynbos Deck for a more formal dining experience, Whale Coast Brewery for friendly owner service including beer tasting and well priced menu, a local hangout. Didn't try the 3rd. People are friendly. The beaches are beautiful and stretch for miles."

"The railway market is a must visit, just check opening times. My preferred farmstall is The Orchard where we had a very nice breakfast and took away some really good tarts and cookies. Their wors is excellent too."
