Makhanda (Grahamstown), Eastern Cape
Acorn Cottage Bed and Breakfast"The town infrastructure is not being maintained (potholes, missing roadsigns, rubbish not collected in some areas). Private property, on the other hand, seems to be old but well maintained. Very historical with wonderful architecture. It's a pity it is being neglected by the authorities."
"Gaan eet gerus by Clives' Choca Block oo die hawe!

"The best thing about Joubertina is Cynthia's cheese cake and homemade bread, and roadside 'stall' on the R62 - a tiny complex of shops and a diner. Don't miss it."
Was altyd so mooi.
"If only the tar roads could be re-surfaced, driving around in town would be a pleasure."
"Great location, if you like hiking, cycling and getting back to nature. Whales frequent the area, and there was a seal in the port."
"Loved the town, so much history and beautifully kept old Victorian homes. Valley of Desolation is breathtakingly beautiful."
