"The surrounding farms are beautiful. Fouriesburg town is small and not a lot to see or do, but the area is beautiful."

"Get rid of all the mass-produced, so called "art"and "crafts" and other items that one can buy elsewhere for less and focus on local handcrafts and locally grown produce. Also need more variety in terms of types of shops, not four or five shops selling the same items. Clarens is a beautiful town and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but it didn't quite live up to the expectations created on the web and social media. Also the noise levels from dragsters speeding up and down the Main street at all hours was most unpleasant. If I wanted disruptive traffic noise, I could have stayed at home."
"Dis definitief 'n bestemming vir 'n paartjie wat tyd saam wil spandeer en rustig wees. Pragtige natuur en heerlike kos. Veral die Duitse restaurant, Roterhan, hulle kos was heerlik. Die Golden Gate area is baie mooi vir stap en rondry."
"Fouriesburg is die plek om te gaan bly as jy Clarens toe wil gaan omdat dit meer stil is en die pryse is ook baie beter. The Windmill is die plaaslike inwoners se gunsteling eetplek en dit lyk ongelooflik mooi. Fouriesburg gee vir ons ‘n plattelandse gevoel en dit was wonderlik!"
