"Everything is extremely far and spaced out. You have to travel for miles to reach any shops or restaurants. You cannot move around on foot. A car is definitely needed and the Ubers are very scarce. One can hardly find one. Overall Paarl is a very beautiful place."
"Strand was super clean, never felt unsafe. Great restaurants and within 20 min of nearest wine farms. Beach is long, clean and offers choices for those who like it really busy or quiet. Water is very shallow so no big waves or rip tides. Sunsets are beautiful. The wind and sand was a challenge, but that's the Cape for you. "
"Loved the area! We went cherry picking which was a treat but make sure you take good quality sneakers! Zip lining in Ceres was loads of fun and suitable for kids as well. Paddagang restaurant in Tulbagh is a winner."
"Tulbagh is pragtig en daar is soveel om te sien. Die natuurskoon is werklik besonder, heerlike bergstappies soos na die Watervalle. Ons het die wynplase en etes geniet. 'n Hoogtepunt was ons ete by Duikersdrift waar Shane en Shayne 'n heerlike kaas- en kouevleis-bord bedien. Ons enigste aanbeveling sal wees, dat meer plase en winkels hul deure oor naweke en vakansie dae oophou. "
"Tulbagh is fabulous. Historical buildings, olive tastings, wine, beer and champagne tastings, and a good few restaurants to eat at. Close to Ceres and Riebeeck Kasteel for day trips."
