"Die dorpie is rêrig pragtig. Die strande is skoon en die wandelpad is stunning. Jacobsbaai is naby aan Vredenburg wat 'n groot winkelsentrum het. Ek beveel Jacobsbaai aan met 'n gelukkige hart."

"We have always enjoyed Sedgefield as a holiday destination and had timeshare on Swartvlei for many years and later in Sedgfield. "
"I have frequented Yzerfontein over the last 15 years and have seen the town grow. This time 2 new gems opened up: a bakery and Yzer Bru. Definitely worth a visit. Fish market mostly operational during the week but there is a fish shop (ask a local for directions). What I love most about Yzerfontein is that you can find homes with sea views and hear the ocean. Great beach walks and rock paths. Well worth a visit and proximity to Cape Town is great. "
"Good destination if you want to relax for a few days. Local restaurant Bergkelder Guest House was great and would recommend it. Pixie World was an unexpected breath of fresh air, pity it's not advertised when you looking for things to do in the area. Spotted it on our way out. "

"Jacobs Bay is the perfect place to have a rest, it is absolutely beautiful there, amazing sea views and if you like bird watching it has amazing birdlife, hiking trails, and mountain biking. There is a backpackers lodge with an amazing Pixie Garden which is great for young children to visit and there are bars where the adults can watch rugby and have a beer and relax. Also not far from there is a private beach which is famous for surfers. It is called Swartriet Beach, for a small fee you can go surf there."
"Die wynplase is wonderlik en die Railway Market 'n groot plus. Die Krimi Fest is 'n briljante konsep en iets wat ek weer sal bywoon. Dit kom wel voor asof die dorp se infrastruktuur 'n bietjie aandag kort (paaie, netheid, ens.)."
"Vanrhynsdorp is nie groot nie en daar is nie veel op die dorp nie, maar ons het gegaan om weg te kom van die stad en sy bedrywighede, en daar is darem Vredendal wat nie te ver is nie. Maar ons kon alles wat ons benodig het vir die naweek op Vanrhynsdorp kry en was baie verbaas oor die hoeveelheid winkels wat op die vakansiedag oop was. "
