"Beautiful historical town. Lots of character. Could spend a couple of days here quite easily since it is a very good base to visit some other of the tourist attractions close by as well (Valley of Desolation, the Owl House in Nieu Bethesda)."

"It is a beautiful location within a short drive from Port St John and part of the lush Wild Coast. But very little is done locally to promote the sites. We knew about the Magwa tea plantation (the only of its kind in the Eastern Cape) and the Magwa Falls because of my daughter's research, but there are no brochures available to promote these and some of the other gems of the area. The local Spar did not even stock the local tea, but we were excited to buy some from the Cosy Posy Reception and they are also providing Magwa tea in the rooms."

City Lodge Hotel Gqeberha"The CBD is not a very good picture to show tourist, because the heritage site old buildings are not in good shape and it is dirty. The beaches and surrounding areas was dirty, strewn with litter where people was using it the previous day. I was born in PE and this is not the same place as previously. It is shocking!"
