"Struisbaai is a lovely town with beautiful beaches and great seafood restaurants. My only complaint is the lack of kid friendly activities & restaurants for those days when the weather does not permit time on the beach, which would obviously not be a problem in Summer. We spent one lovely day on the beach but the weather turned so it was a bit of a challenge finding places to go or things to do with 4 young children. We will go back in the warmer months!"

"Velddrif is soos 'n ongeslypte diamant; die plek het baie potensiaal! Ons sou graag wou hê dat die toeriste-aantreklikhede meer ontwikkel en bemark sou word, maar dit gesê, sou dit verkeerd wees as die plek te veel kommersieël word. Die voëlkyk rondom die dorp is fantasties, en dit sou wonderlik wees om miskien een of twee skuilings (bird hides) te hê vanwaar mens dit kan besigtig. Die sout en vis industrie moet miskien 'n bietjie meer bemark word. Afgesien daarvan, heers daar 'n rustieke, plat-op-die-aarde atmosfeer, wat baie Weskus dorpe al verloor het!"
