This was our first visit to this area and we were very pleasantly surprised. The scenery is absolutely breath taking and the people are very friendly. We will definitely be back. Stunning!"

The Garden Cottage"Baie mooi skoon dorpie. Sal weer graag wil kom draai, aangesien my tydjie net te kort was. Ek het baie tyd by Braeside Gastehuis spandeer om voor te berei vir troue - lieflike mooi plek. En dan daardie baie mooi wit NG kerk in die dorp - priceless! Baie oulike winkels ook."

As 'n besoeker dus saans eers rondom hierdie tyd daar aankom - sorg dat u reeds u aankopies gedoen het! Het bogenoemde 4 aande in 'n ry ervaar."

The Blue Cow Barn – Boutique Farm Accommodation"It’s a cool little place along the R62. You definitely have to stop at the Karoo Moon Motel right at the entrance of Barrydale, coming from Capetown. This cafe is a fun place to have a break and look around, especially for kids. And at the end of this town still on R62 is a very stylish cafe as well. Other than that it is a very neat and quiet town with not too much to do (at least over the weekend), but as we only spent one night we were not looking for more activities and didn’t look for them either. We found two nice restaurants and ate at a local one called Mez. If you want a quiet and safe stop, stop on the way to Oudtshoorn and have a nice coffee break we recommend this town highly!"
