"Is a small town with a lingering fishy smell in the air. We were not bothered by any smell on top of the hill where we stayed. The shops had rather limited goods and fresh meat was only available pre-packed. However, if you travel towards Vredenburg there is a good butchery next to the road. The local Portuguese Restaurant " Allegra" serves the greatest fish dishes and Portuguese Peri Peri Chicken, steaks, eisbein, seafood platters and a good choice of wines."

"My place of birth, always beautiful. Make use of all the facilities available in and around Mossel Bay to make your stay even more enjoyable. Walk around the Point, go into the cave, do the zip line, cycle, go running from Diaz Beach to the Point early morning, it is safe. Visit places around Mossel Bay - we went to The Redberry Farm, which has the biggest maze in the Southern Hemisphere, just before you enter George."
"Ons verkies die Oostekant van Valsbaai, Gordonbaai is baie naby, die Somerset Mall en baie ander geriewe is ook naby. Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek en Grabouw is binne ry-afstand, met Pringlebaai, Hangklip en Bettysbaai op die kusroete."
